Will bankruptcy effect my checking acct? Positive experiences?

Me and my husband want to file ch.7 to wipe out everything and start over again. But can we keep our checking accts? CAn i keep my truck since i am joint with my father in law or does he have to take it over?

Any good expereinces of relief from filing ch. 7?

   You will be able to keep ur checking account though your lawyer will prob need to know how much u have in there. If the truck is in ur name that might cause a problem. Move the truck into ur father in laws name for now. I can tell u from experiance u will screw up ur credit for a long time.
