Who decides which Chapter of the Bankruptcy Code a business or a corporation should file under?

I need accurate information because this will be used for a business law presentation.

   bankrupty laws vary from state to state. you need to either contact a bankrupty lawyer in the state where you live or do a specific search for the bankrupty laws of your state.

   Businesses file under 11 - reorganization or 7 - liquidation. If the filing is voluntary, you choose.
