1. The parents that came here illegally who had their kids legally in the US. I wish I could kill these parents. I’ve seen this so many times and it’s sad what these kids have to go through. When I was young, I had another friend who was in this exact situation. She was thirteen, and had an 8 year old brother and a fifteen year old sister (who was already doing drugs and stealing her mother’s car, dropped out of school, etc). Her mother got in some trouble, then sent back to Mexico leaving her three kids, high and fucking dry, in Los Angeles, where none of them were even at the legal age to work yet. Years later to this day, their only relationship with their mother is a paycheck.
To come to this country only to have children, then get deported! If I were running things, I’d say TAKE YOUR GODDAMN KIDS WITH YOU. The only thing this woman ever contributed to society was another teenage gang member in California.

2. Now I understand many factors that lead to crime rates in certain areas. But what really baffles me is when I see parents who risked everything, and did everything they could to immigrate to this country to give their kids a better life. These kids often give it their all and do their absolute best, and then there are the kids who decide to wallow in misery, or do drugs, or steal, and get into trouble. What a way to thank your parents.
