What happens to a house filed in a bankruptcy after death?

My mother in law died on March 9, 2008. She was a widower. She filed bankruptcy on her house what happens to the house now. There was not insurance to pay it off.

   I’m guessing that the house will be seized.

   I find everything will be alright as she is dead and she was liable for.
