Make some flyers, send some out, post some at local grocerie stores, places like that. Make up some business cards. make sure all these things look professional or you won’t get a respnse. It’s called advertising. you may have to spend a little to get a little. List urself in the yellow pages, think about making up a web site. Possibly even a small camersial if you have the funds.

If you want to do this online, I can do no better than recommend the Service Sellers’ Master Course.

It is available for free download here:

If you want to do it ‘on the ground’ rather than online, it’s time to call your local newspaper offices and ask them about ads and leaflet distribution.

You can purchase mailing lists that actually target your zip codes and people who are in credit trouble. Then do up a mailing that is professional, but also makes it very visible that you want to help them get through their credit troubles. If you use an envelope, you can have a message put right on the outside bottom of the envelope. Then have a letter done up that tells why bankruptcy is the answer to their credit woes. Use bullet points to highlight things that will really appeal to them
(not losing their house, getting creditors to stop bugging them, etc.)

I think its even possible to get lists on people who are in danger of foreclosure. Search for mailing houses or direct mail production on the internet.

Meet other attorneys and let them know you do bankruptcy. As bankruptcy is a specialized field chances are they won’t have many other people to refer bankruptcies to.
