bankruptcy law

My mother in law bought a dell computer in Nov 2005 as a gift for my husband it was something like $1500. she paid $75 a month for 2 1/2 years. In July 2007 she decided she could no longer afford to pay all her bills (yes she does work a 40 hour a week job) so she started the bankruptcy process the bill in July 2007 was $1960 she had bought ink and a new printer during the 2 1/2 years that is the reason the amount went up. she finally went to court today She called me when she got home and said dell had sent her lawyer papers wanting her to pay $87 a month for 30 months to pay for the computer. Is this something she has to worry about?

    hey,
No and yes? why yes, because she is not yet declared bankrupt by the court she has to pay tht amount, and if she is working 40 hours a week the court will consider her able to pay.

why No, she doesnt have to worry tht much because if look deep inside you there is something telling you if you pool resources together you and your mother and husband you pay it off stress free, otherwise you will engage in a legal fight tht will weigh your mother down stress wise and we dont want tht do we.

if you wait longer then you will have to pay a higher amount coz money grows and they dell can also argue along those lines and before you know it they want you to pay 97$ for 30 months

grts and have a stress free day
