is this plagueism?
FBI.gov history-
When the Bureau was established, there were few federal crimes. The Bureau of Investigation primarily investigated violations of laws involving national banking, bankruptcy, naturalization, antitrust, peonage, and land fraud. Because the early Bureau provided no formal training, previous law enforcement experience or a background in the law was considered desirable.
my paper with out spell check-
Compared to the FBI today, the buearu of investorgation had very few things in investogate on account there were relatively few federal crimes. Some of the things they did investogate though were violations of laws involving national banking, bankruptcy, naturalization, antitrust, peonage, and land fraud. To combat these few original federal crimes the beauru of investogation would normaly try to recruit people with some sort of lawenforcemnt background or experience.
i thought footnotes were for more info not really related to the paper?

I wouldn’t say that it’s plagiarism, but remember that you need to say where you got the information in a footnote or end-note. If you don’t, it’s plagiarism.

Why not just put it in quotes and credit your source?
You enter all of the sources you USE in your bibliography.

NO. if you need to add something to support your finding, you can insert the source or author’s name with page # in a Parathesis. it’s good to add quotes also but don’t get carried away; the teacher might think that you don’t know what to say or can’t put things into your own words.

Just use what you got and give the sources (author, name, date) If you take something and say you typed it and you didn’t, then it’s plagirism. Your best bet is to either read it and summerize it your own way or take it and give full credit.
You have no idea how embarrassed you will be if you are caught plagerising. Lucky for me, I just got a zero for a test grade.
