Any company can do a background check on you including your credit. It is an easy way for companies to cut down on the application process. Sad but true/

No..You can still go to law school.Most of your bad credit disappears over time.

The answer is no… bad credit rating will disappear after some time after you have resolved the issue… if you have a history of bankrupcy it will depend on which field and why, but should not withhold you from law-school/carreer

Many companies, both in and out of the accounting/finance industries, are now doing credit checks as part of their employment process. Bad credit scores are now a legitimate reason for employers to disqualify applicants. I know, I’m in that boat right now also.
