give it to the attorney and let him look at and I can’t tell you what he do once you file banruptcy their nothing they can do.

I believe that once you file bankruptcy, it stops all proceedings of a creditor. I would try to go ahead and file as soon as possible; don’t wait three months if you can help it.

You can’t get blood from a stone,if you don’t have it how can you pay it.
Make sure the attorney and the debt are named in the bankruptcy.

Depending on the size of the debt, he will have you served papers, have you appear in front of a judge and explain why you haven’t paid your debt. He may then petition the court to attach a lien on anything you own until the terms of the debt are satisfied.
However, since you mention bankruptcy…
If you include his debt in your bankruptcy, he is not allowed to make further contact regarding said debt.
You may need to expedite your bankruptcy claim.

He will see you in court. When you lose, you will also be responsible to pay court costs, too. When this happens, all of your bank accounts can be seized, also personal items such as your car can be taken.
Have you ever thought of paying your bills? Would save you a lot of grief.
You don’t say what kind of debt it is but if it is a student loan, they aren’t dismissed by bankruptcy.
