How can I get a Criminal Complaint filed against a “Con Artist”?
Over the past three years I have systematicly been “swindled” out of almost $20,000.00! I even have a report from a PI showing that ALL the transactions were based upon this person’s deceptions, yet local Police will not even take the complaint!
To make matters worse, I am STILL being RIPPED OFF by this persons’ deceptions (Insurance Fraud now), yet no assistance in stopping these actions.
This CON ARTIST has brought me to the verge of Bankruptcy! The emotional stress is ruining my health, and even my ability to even sleep anymore!
I find myself “fantasizing” about doing “physical harm” to this person I am becoming so desperate to put an “end” to all of this.
Is there any recourse, (short of “taking the law into my own hands”)?

Your only possible recourse would be to take him to small claims court. The problem is that even if you won it will very difficult to get compensation. This may not be what you want to hear but the best thing to do is try and move on with your life. Hiring PI’s and letting this destroy you will only further the damage of this con-man

You need to be more specific as to what actually happened.

If the local police will not take your complaint, contact the state police. Every state has an investigative unit.
If that doesn’t work, contact the closest FBI office and get some assistance from them.
Good Luck.
