The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (S.256), as passed, was introduced in the 109th Congress (2005-2006). so you think we should all be afraid because obama voted directly against the large corporations in favor of the taxpayers?

what about that is supposed to frighten us.

over 30% of all bankruptcies are MEDICALLY based - and have nothing to do with credit card abuse.

shows me that obama has a little bit of backbone and common sense.

according to your own info - obama is the only candidate who was on the right side of this issue - thanks for the info - i will share it widely.

That bankruptcy bill was basically written by the banks, the credit card companies and other lending entities that lobbied heavily for its passage. Real abuses were not addressed, but with so many Americans heavily in debt, creditors strengthened their position. It’s scary that most Americans were paying so little attention.

He also voted yes to allow the credit card companies raise the interest rates! Hes really looking out for the citizens. Change, what he means is change for the worse.
