No, because people was using old bankruptcy law to avoid paying their debts when in reality they were capable of paying these debts

Yes, I think so.
I surprised that the banks and creditors haven’t opened up debtors prisons for the people who are bankrupt. They could always lease out the people in the prison (along with their children) as labor for GM, Ford, or Chrysler and bring jobs back to America.
