I have to file for bankruptcy. I owe over a quarter of a million dollars in hospital dept. My fiancee’ said that he wouldn’t marry me until I file for bankruptcy so that my debt doesn’t turn into his debt after we are married. So his question is, is if we get married after I file for bankruptsy will it still some how in any way affect his credit even after the bankruptsy is done and over with??? Please any information would halp tremendously!
