a is the wrong answer, as R & R can’t perform the contract as they are the receiving end.
c is the wrong answer as it would need to be in the contract and the question doesn’t specify to that.
d is wrong as who carries the supplies is not as important as the supplies themselves.
Therefore b is the correct answer. In business law, you are allowed to substitute when there is no other way to complete the contract through no fault of your own.
A provision here, you aren’t allowed to change product, but you can change delivery method.
