I dont fully understand what is your question but i will give it a shot. Disability payments, like from social security, cannot be garnished to pay debts, they are protected under federal law. If you file bankruptcy and your only income is the disability then you should be able to move directly into chapter 7 and have all your debts cleared. If you have “other” income, then we would need to know that in order to give you my perspective of the same. You need to rememeber that disability, social security, and qualified pension plans cannot be garnished, that means that even if someone files a law suit to collects and gets a judgement against you, how they are going to enforce it? Of course, again, if you have other assets, then we would need to review what are they….Good luck
