It will stay on your report for up to 10 years. After 7 years, you can refile.

Once your BK is discharged, it will remain on your credit bureau for 10-years. All account included in the BK will still show on your bureau, but will be labeled “Included in bankruptcy”.

If you reaffirmed on any of your accounts? You will need to call them and request that they continue to report to the bureaus. That is if you want them to. I found this out after my BK. I reaffirmed on a Ford account and they did not report until I called them and requested that they do so.

10 years. U can file the same type of banko after 7 years. So rack up the cards and hit ‘em with a 13 after like a year.

10 years now that discharges in chapter 7 are allowed only once every 8 years.

Chapter 13 with a discharge requires a 4 year wait – otherwise it requires a 2 year wait.
