AIRLINE BANKRUPTCY?! If I hold a ticket for an airline that has declared bankruptcy, what do I do?

bankruptcy law

Me and my family have tickets for OASIS airlines, our flights were scheduled for July, the airline shutdown yesterday. Now what?!? I think we’ve tried contacting our credit card company ( in which the tickets were purchased on) and they said they couldn’t do anything? Are there any CANADIAN? or ALBERTAN consumer laws that obligate the credit company to refund our money or that protect ? or what else can we do short of shelling out another 1500$ each for new tickets?? Thanks for any help given!!

Keep hassling your credit card company. They should have some protections in place. Read the fine print.
