Seems they want you to think it’s normal to have all these credit cards and carry balances on them when i fact it’s not normal and not good to do and MOSTof the people are NOT doing that. DO you have more then $5000 in credit card debt? Should congress pass a law to limit the amount of credit offered on cards to those under 30 years old to help avoid bankruptcy and stressed homes?

I have been researching filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy, but have had estimates of cost anywhere from $700 to $9,500. Nobody can seem to tell me until they start into the process. I know my case is fairly straightforward, I have no real estate or property to protect other than a car, and have other debts as well, but nothing unusual or elaborate.

I understand some of the fees are included in the Chapter 13 plan and paid over time.

I just want to know approximately how much I have to come up with in the beginning, out of my pocket, to file.

Does anyone have any real experience going through this, with the new laws the way they are now?

Four years ago my sister and law and husband moved two houses down even though my husband clearly told them he was not happy with them moving there. After an argument, we had to get a restrainging order against the both of them. Well, they are now “befriending” neighbors all around us! We are nice, but not the most social ppl and hate playing these kind of “popularity contest” junior high games. We dont like this family. They are consantly walking by and stuff – they are STALKERS! They beep past our house, they try and walk with the neighbors in front of our house, they do everything they can to be annoying.

I need HELP. What can I do? We dont want to move. We put too much money into this house.

They are intrusive ppl. Always seeing who we have over, staring at it, just being plain anoying.

Ignoring has not worked. Restraining orders, have not worked.

They have no jobs so they have all the time in the world. They are both on disability and claimed bankruptcy.

They are charging big interests, since Bush passed the last bankruptcy law.

Just wondering if there are any laws that protect the stockholder from companies that declare bankruptcy (possibly to get out of debt), but then return doing the same exact thing they were doing (even the same name) – but with a new ticker symbol.

But SSI met court in April, and they will bankruptcy. But they placed us many orders. They need to pay us much money. Now all things stopped suddenly.
We found that SSI is no interest to collect these goods from their PO. It is not responsible action.
And they didn’t inform us any process for their situation.
So we are eager to get truth from law-officer and the third party.
From this we found UK law is not fair at all.

I filed bankruptcy two years ago because of a failed business. I had a sales tax liability when I closed the business. I had assets at the time, which the trustee required me to turn over to him to apply to my debts. I was told I was breaking the law by paying the sales taxes and not giving the trustee the money.

The trustee has not applied a dime of the money to anything. Our wages have been garnished by the state and our state tax refund was seized this year. I am livid that the trustee is sitting there with enough money to pay the debt and I am having to pay it anyway. I was told it was the law to turn over all my assets to the trustee, so I did.

Will the state sieze my tax rebate? They took my state tax refund, but not my federal refund this year. Any ideas?

Also, if and when the trustee finally decides to pay out our assets, will i receive back the money that i have paid on my debt or will he just apply it to the next creditor down the line?
Our bankruptcy was discharged in June of 2006. The trustee is sitting with over $15,000 in assets that have not been applied to anything.

if a person is bankrupt in germany, 7 years ago, and moves to the uk and resides there for all this time. would the person/creditor/bailiff seeking to recover the money be able to do this, i.e are there any law restrictions between the 2 countries. If anyone could help with this or direct me to a source that could, I would be very grateful.

Americans who took their entire lives to pay off their home mortgages, now find that the taxes on their homes are so high, they cant afford to live in them any more and the congestion so bad, they cant even find a place to park in front of their own homes. Many have to pack up and move out of the city, just to make ends meet, and then face the arduous daily hours of driving back and forth just to get to work and back home. That is, those that still have jobs, since as this goes on, jobs disappear, either right here where we get laid off, or the whole company moves out to a cheap labor country. And as the hordes make demands for energy needs, power needed to heat and light homes and buildings is insufficient, and cities black out, the demand for gas soars, heating prices skyrocket, and our own supply of gas becomes insufficient to meet our own needs, and we become victims of the arabs, who use the pumps to revenge our policies they don’t like. Even the price of food is soaring to feed these unwelcome parasites.

They pile over the borders or by plane on visitor visas, preying on the good naturedness of Americans to provide a refuge for the oppressed, they connive the appearance of the downtrodden and persecuted, and then sit down comfortably and stay here, leeching off the health care system which faces bankruptcy in 20 years, the welfare system that us sucker u.s. taxpayers have to pick up the tab for, and which we spent decades to build.

Social parasites from latin america, flock here to live free on us sucker taxpayers, dragging their families and relatives in, once they get green cards and then swamping the health care system with their third world illnesses and birth defects. And the other breed of latinos – criminals of the most evil intensities terrorizing communities in which they rob and kill.

Thieves and common criminals from the countries of eastern Europe and the soviet union, hearing that there is still stuff on store shelves when stores close, that hasn’t been shoplifted or sold, come and steal, with impunity.

Mafia organizations that control Russia and the countries of the former soviet union, setting up foreign crime systems that specialize in grand larceny, weaponry, even nuclear arms materials for sale, stolen from the old soviet system, available for sale to our enemies, raking them million$.

Africans with strange ,deadly diseases walk in, causing epidemics and death to our gay citizens and to innocent people in general and swamping the health care system.

Asians with alien religious philosophies, contrary to Christian monotheism, poisoning the minds of our youth. And they come and take our jobs away here in America, while employers, enticed by cheap labor, move their companies there, leaving us unemployed,.

Terrorists walk in and go about their death tactics with ease and we shudder at what they will do to us next.

All, contributing to crime, violence, social unrest.

Finally, To add insult to these injuries to our nation, our government picks up the tab for hundreds of thousands of third world “students” to come, pack our universities tuition free at the expense of us US taxpayers ,while we Americans fall into debt to pay for our own children to get a college education.
