bankruptcy law

1) Making it harder for ordinary citizens to file bankruptcy even if their bankruptcy is caused by medical bills…while at same time making it easier for the rich to hide assets in their bankruptcies

2) Making it harder for citizens to sue corporations who have done them harm.

3) Massive tax cuts to the rich, which gave the rich more money to supposedly invest and make our economy boom, create new business, factories and jobs in the USA, bringing in gushers of new tax revenues and balancing the budget. Well, we lost 15% of our manufacturing base, went from a balanced budget to 400 billion dollar budget deficits, record trade deficits, a jobless recovery, declining real wages, record foreclosures, and the worst yet to come…

4) They even tried to end social security and steer the whole thing over to volatile wall street …and huge profits to their buddies.

ARe you proud of these things?

bankruptcy law

My husband and 4 kids 9 and under are living with my inlaws who were abusive to my husband and his brothers and they were sent to foster homes as a result of my Father inlaws Physical abuse. My husband and I have no where to go since our bankruptcy and my F in Law has since mended his ways since he has been in anger management classes in the past. So has my husband. Now my husbands brother is getting a divorce from his wife whose rights are severed because of her physical abuse to them. My B in Law says that he wants his kids 10 and under (4 kids) to live where we are in living (with my M and F in Law. They said a CPS investigator is coming out to check the place for safety. My kids are all in one room and ther is no other room available but in the livingroom for these other kids. Do you think CPS is not going to allow it since there isn’t much room?

bankruptcy law

My brother-in-law is truck driver and just found out today the company he has worked for over 10 years is filing for bankruptcy and all benefits ceased as of today. Here is his major problem…he had a liver transplant (not from drinking, he contracted hep-c) several years ago and has to go for monthly appointments that accrue around $75,000.00. His next appointment is this Friday, today is Tuesday. What can he do?
He can’t qualify for COBRA as the insurance plan needs to be in effect. Since the company filed bankruptcy, the insurance plan does not exist anymore. As to the answer that no private health insurance will cover him now, I think that is extremely sad in this country. If he doesn’t receive his medical treatment monthly, he will get sick and probably die.
